I always love getting pictures as feedback from my customers. Thanks so much for these really beautiful ones of an empire dress I made earlier this year. She wore it a a ball. You can see more pictures of the ball<\/a> itself on their facebook page. Looks really lovely!<\/p>\n

The dress is based on the Desiree dress<\/a> and Aimee dress<\/a> but with a square neckline. The fabric is soft cotton in cream with a top layer of embroidered cream cotton. Details are done in dark red.<\/p>\n

As beautiful as a train looks, I can not recommend it for a dress you want to wear for an evening with lots of dancing. You will have to pin it in place and it will not look that nice. And it will be in your way constantly. My customer confirmed this. So please think about what you want to do with your dress.
\nYou can of course shorten a dress with a train easily. Or you can opt for a – historically acurate (!) – dress with a detachable train.<\/p>\n

Ich liebe es, wenn ich Bilder als Feedback bekomme. Und diese hier sind besonders sch\u00f6n! Das Empirekleid habe ich dieses Jahr f\u00fcr eine Kundin gemacht, die es zu einem Ball tragen wollte. Ihr findet weitere Bilder vom Ball auf dieser Facebook-Seite<\/a>. Es sieht definitiv nach einem sch\u00f6nen Abend aus!<\/p>\n

Das Kleid selbst basiert auf dem Kleid Desiree<\/a> und dem Kleid Aimee<\/a>, hat aber einen quadratischen Ausschnitt. Es ist aus naturfarbener Baumwolle mit einer oberen Lage aus ebenfalls naturfarbener, ganz d\u00fcnner Baumwolle mit einem gestickten Bl\u00e4ttermuster in braun. Dazu kommen Akzente in dunkelrot.<\/p>\n

So sch\u00f6n die Schleppe auf den Bildern wirkt, f\u00fcr einen Ball mit Tanz ist sie eher unpraktisch. Du musst sie zum tanzen hochstecken und das sieht dann einfach nicht mehr so sch\u00f6n aus. Auch ist sie eigentlich die ganze Zeit im Weg. Also bitte denke dar\u00fcber nach, wo und wann du das Kleid tragen willst und ob du wirklich eine Schleppe haben willst.
\nNat\u00fcrlich ist es m\u00f6glich, eine Schleppe von einem Kleid zu entfernen. Und es gibt auch die – historische (!) – M\u00f6glichkeit von abnehmbaren Schleppen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
